MWCC students are members of a resource sharing network of libraries, C/W MARS. This network allows you to borrow resources from 8 academic libraries and 144 public libraries. Items requested from other libraries by placing a HOLD through the library catalog can be picked up at the MWCC library. Students can search the library catalog on the library homepage https://library.mwcc.edu for books, movies, music, video games, e-books and more by choosing BOOKS from the FIND menu at the top of the page.
Students can access more than 80 databases to search articles from scholarly/academic journals, magazines, newspapers and reference books in all subject areas, as well as view streaming videos by choosing ARTICLES (Databases) from the FIND menu a the top of the library homepage https://library.mwcc.edu.
In order to access the online research databases from an off-campus location, you will be prompted to log-in with your library card number -- 279451 followed by your student ID number -- and a password, which is your last name in all CAPITAL LETTERS.
Students can use Search Everything on the library homepage https://library.mwcc.edu to search the library’s entire collection including books, databases, research guides and more through one search box.
