How to Reserve Rooms

  • CALL US AT 978-630-9125 OR SPEAK TO A LIBRARY STAFF MEMBER TO RESERVE A ROOM.
  • Please review the Study Room Policy below and contact us with any questions.

Collaborative Classroom (075)

Collaborative Classroom (075)

This room is designed for active, collaborative learning for groups of 3-12 people. The room has a media-scape for sharing documents via laptop plug-ins. The room also has two whiteboards. There is no audiovisual projection equipment in the room. 

  • Students can use this room for collaborative group work and study. 
  • Faculty and staff can use this room for group trainings and professional development.
  • Priority will be given to groups requiring use of the room’s technology.
  • NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THIS ROOM.

Small Study Rooms (073 and 074) Large Study Room (077)
  • These rooms have a desk, computer, and two chairs.
  • Snacks and covered drinks only.
  • This room has a conference table and eight chairs.
  • Snacks and covered drinks only.

Using These Rooms

  • Students must keep the room in good condition.
  • Turn off all equipment and lights and dispose of all trash before exiting.
  • Students are liable for any damages or inappropriate use of the room.
  • Students are expected to comply with Library and college policies.
  • Noise levels from conversations and/or equipment must not disturb others.
  • Students are responsible for personal belongings left unattended in study rooms.
  • Rooms must be vacated 10 minutes prior to Library & Academic Support Center closing time.
  • Please close the door when leaving the room.
  • For technical assistance or to report any problems, contact a Library staff member.

Please note: Study rooms are available for small group interaction and dialog. While activity in these rooms does not need to be academic related, it must be conducive to the overall atmosphere of the Library, the adjoining testing rooms, tutoring spaces and classrooms. Library staff reserve the right to restrict or remove reservation privileges from students or groups who are not using study rooms according to these expectations.
