Important Update September 8th 2025: Course Research Guides are in the process of being updated. All Faculty are encouraged to meet with a librarian to update existing course guides for classes you teach. Please see blog post below for full information and instructions.

March 6th 2025: Employee Photo IDs are now printed with library barcodes on them and function as library cards. Request a new Employee ID card.

This toolkit is designed to introduce MWCC faculty to the resources, services, and curriculum provided by the LaChance Library in support of teaching and learning across the curriculum at MWCC. 

MWCC librarians are here to collaborate with you in a variety of ways in order to foster students' information literacy development and increase student success. Please use this toolkit to learn more about how we can partner to:

• Integrate library research and information literacy into your curriculum and assignments
• Visit your class(es) for an interactive library instruction session relevant to your curriculum and students' needs
• Assist in finding open educational resources (OER) to support your courses at no cost to students
• Create course-specific research guides to assist your students in completing successful research assignments
• Develop research-based assignment alternatives to a paper
• Assist with course reserve items
• Acquire print and digital resources to support your curriculum
