Time Management: Values

Time is fair, it treats everyone the same, and everyone has all there is. The purpose of time management is to learn how to get things done so there is more time for fun.

One of the keys to managing your time is to consider your values- this is a notably difficult, but important, step in improving your time management skills.



How important is it that you

  • succeed in college? 
  • spend time with family? 
  • spend time with friends? 
  • work as many hours as you do? 


Force yourself to rank these 4 areas of your life (college, family, friends, work) and think about why you arranged it that way. 




Once ranked, head to "Time Management Assessment" in the "Values" drop down menu to see if your actions support your values.
